Friday Wine & Music w/ Jazz the Dog

Jazz the Dog is the new name for an old band of musical friends: Rhan Wilson, Rick Zeek, and Patti Maxine. No, they don’t play jazz, although they can be a bit jazzy. They actually play an eclectic mix of Americana, originals, soul, and sometimes oddly rearranged cover tunes. Slow and steady, fast and pumpin’, groovin’ on a Sunday afternoon – these three keep it “in the moment”, improvising as they go.

Saturday Sounds w/ Alan Lee & Janeene Wilkinson

Pianist and longtime coastsider Alan Lee performs as a soloist, in small jazz combos, and with local groups The Half Moon Band, and Mojazz.  Lately he’s been entertaining audiences with intimate vocal/piano duo performances – at Barterra he’s pleased to present vocalist Janeene Wilkinson singing pop favorites from the 60’s – 90’s.

Saturday Sounds w/ Kevin McGee

Musician Kevin McGeeSinger-songwriter Kevin Patrick McGee combines fingerstyle playing on 6- and 12-string acoustic guitars with poetic, thoughtful, evocative lyrics in genres ranging from rock to folk to alt-country and bluegrass. A San Francisco Bay Area native who has lived and traveled extensively in Europe and Japan, Kevin distills people, places, and things (real or imagined) into serious and humorous songs of love, loss, and hope. Kevin is a founding member of local Coastside band Ocean Shore Railroad. Kevin also composes modern classical and electronic music and has performed as a tenor in San Francisco-based eclectic choral group Resound Ensemble
