Mark is an original finger-style acoustic guitar player ranging in styles from new-age ambient, slide, flamenco, Brazilian, and contemporary original compositions.  His influences include Michael Hedges, Pat Metheny, Lawrence Juber, Alex DeGrassi, Tommy Emmanuel, Al DiMeola, Leo Kottke and Pierre Bensusan.

Fifty years later he continues to create, perform, and explore the way we hear and interpret music. His most recent group, “Jazz The Dog”, continues along the imaginative musical path with fellow musicians Rick Zeek and Patti Maxine.

They’ve played a wide range of musical genres and their inspration draws from bossa nova and other Brazilian music, fado, tango, and classic American jazz.
