Janice Moody’s horticultural roots run deep—she grew up on a nursery that her family started in Half Moon Bay in the early 60’s (McCahon Nursery). Although she majored in Dietetics at UC Davis, her inner passion for gardening never waned and after wearing many hats over the years, she finally found her true calling in life when she became a UC Master Gardener in 2010 and eventually started Seascapes Succulent Nursery and Garden Design in 2016. She calls herself a jack of many trades, but a Master of only one—gardening. She feels so fortunate to be able to work outdoors, doing what she loves most, and sharing her gardening knowledge with others.
Ticket includes your first glass of wine, everything you need to design and arrange your own succulent pot to take home with you, and instruction from Janice.

Jazz the Dog is the new name for an old band of musical friends: Rhan Wilson, Rick Zeek, and Patti Maxine. No, they don’t play jazz, although they can be a bit jazzy. They actually play an eclectic mix of Americana, originals, soul, and sometimes oddly rearranged cover tunes. Slow and steady, fast and pumpin’, groovin’ – these three keep it “in the moment”, improvising as they go.

Started by Alicia during Covid-19 pandemic to bring joy and happiness to people when they’re feeling down, Jars of Joie allow you to be able to pull a positive affirmation card whenever you need. Great to make for yourself, or give as a gift to friends and family. The event is open to anyone who wants to help spread joy and positivity, either to themselves or others. Come anytime Sunday, December 3 from 1-4pm, and Alicia will be available to provide instructions to build your own Jar of Joie. She also has ready-made Jars of Joie as well as Jewelry available for purchase.
